Our rooms

Our two Kingsize rooms, Copper Beech and Silver Birch, are next to each other in a separate area of our family home. Tania is a freelance designer and has completely renovated the B&B accommodation in a mid-century style, with original vintage furniture and accessories.

From our main staircase, a separate staircase leads to a self contained lobby area outside the two rooms. An Italian 1950’s sideboard in the lobby contains extra mugs and other things you may find useful, including wine and beer glasses.

If you are a party of 4 you may like to book both rooms as they are next door to each other in a separate private area of our house.

Free WiFi

A password for free WiFi is supplied in each room

Digital TV & Radio

There is a large wall mounted smart TV with Netflix, a retro style DAB clock radio, plus an alarm clock in each room

Fridge

There is a fridge in the lobby area outside the room stocked with fresh milk and bottles of water. You are welcome to store any of your own drinks or food in the fridge during your stay

Parking

A free parking space is available for the duration of your stay

Close to Transit

We are situated very close to Sway train station, with direct links to London, Bournemouth, Poole, Southampton and surrounding villages

Extras

A range of books about the New Forest and maps are available for you to borrow for the duration of your stay, plus a selection of novels. There are also some retro games, including Connect 4, Operation & Kerplunk, plus playing cards. Bathrobes are available on request - just ask if you'd like one. There is a tall tower fan in each of our B&B rooms in the Summer months as our guests' comfort is very important to us.

Breakfast

A tasty breakfast is served in our dining room and is included in the room price. Our breakfast choices can be viewed on the Menu page and you will be asked to choose what you would like the night before. There are tea & coffee making facilities on a trolley in each room, plus a wide range of tea bags, coffee bags and hot chocolate sachets.

Homemade cookies

A box of homemade Wildwood chocolate chip cookies will be waiting for you in your room when you arrive. If you have any special dietary requirements we will provide gluten-free and/or dairy free cookies. Just let us know in advance, please.

"It's difficult to add anything to the many 5 star reviews. My wife and I had a wonderful few days here and Tania is a perfect host. The accommodation and food were all perfect and no detail has been forgotten in ensuring that you have everything you need. We enjoyed the view overlooking the garden at breakfast which is visited by a multitude of birds and her wonderful friendly dog Milo appears regularly to say hello although he is not allowed to enter the dining room or your bedroom. Sway is a really good spot for visiting other areas of the New Forest and there is also a nice woodland walk straight from the hotel. We had dinner at the 2 local pubs (both were excellent) and the local cafe is also very good. All in all we had a great time and I would highly recommend Wildwood"
